It's another morning #Nostr.
Yesterday was marred by my jaw pain all day long which made getting anything accomplished a good bit harder. I did manage to finally close up gaps on the kitchen door. It's in the old part of the house (96 years old) so there were some pretty healthy gaps around it. It seats much better and now has the gaps all closed. Only took me 15 years to figure it out...
Later in the day I was able to build the door flaps for the dog door. I had just an old towel tacked up to create the dual flap but it didn't do much to keep cold out. I found a piece of pond liner rubber sheet and cut stirps which I stapled to a strip of wood then screwed to the wall over the outer opening. It works WAY better and will block the air movement a lot more than the towel did.
