We are in the cold part of Winter now, finally. It took it's sweet damn time. 10F yesterday morning and 0F this morning. We're looking at negative temps the next nights.

Honeycomb Storage Walls are badass and with them installed in the bathroom the sink area is now WAY nicer, organized, and easier to keep cleaned. I'm going to keep the printer pushing the panels out as I have places all over the house that I want them.

Would you sell those honey combs storage things?

I probably could, hadn't thought about it yet but might be worth it. There are oodles of possible parts for them which could be a bit hard to narrow down.

Is there a catalog of all the options?

Not as such. I go to Printables and search HSW then rummage through for different parts I want.

thats cool!

3D printer is on my list for a long time already. Nice to see people making good use out of them 👍

I'd wanted one for YEARS so have had a pretty large backlog of ideas in my head that I've been able to print. There are millions of models available on various sites too. It's super cool to make useful things not just toys or models.

Yup!

Besides me getting frustrated that things dont go fast enough, thinking a good deal before buying a tool makes so much sense. When I finally get it theres so many uses for it and usually I keep finding more.

But printing your own missing pieces is so cool! I "repaired" an expensive coffee grinder, it had 1 plastic part which broke (holding grinders in place, go figure). Took some measurements, drew it in 3D, added some reinforcements, printed 3 time... am still using that first print. been nearly 5 years using it.

f*ck planned obsolescense

the feeling you get when repairing something, owning it!
