im going to keep saying this until it happens. technology works best when it fades into the background and the users don't even know what's happening nor are they aware of what technology they're using. they don't care about how the sausages are made. they just know that they're delicious.

Agree in many ways, but a unique aspect of nostr, like bitcoin, is how users fundamentally must be aware of the technology.

Think of how the mantra of “not your keys (nsec) not your coins” requires the user to acknowledge and confront the technology and for that technology not to become obscured or unknown to the user.
