Friends, plebs, nostriches, lend me your ear;
I come to seek counsel on a matter of sovereignty.
I recently secured a domain name and am now looking at what my options to host the site are.
1)My ideal would be to self host on my own server but I don't have one and don't have the set up to have one any time soon. ❎
2)I set up a vps and host there.
3)I pay for a hosting package.
4)I found out about using a github as a place that I could point my domain to. Thanks to #[0] for giving me that information.
5) This is where I hope some nostriches will have some ideas. Our whole drive for nostr and more widely Bitcoin is a drive towards taking back our sovereignty over our online lives. I was thinking about a website based on nostr. Is that even possible? So currently, nostr clients are set up as a chat/messaging client. Is it possible for someone to set up a "client" that is a website/blog? I understand that the client still needs to be hosted somewhere in that scenario but I'm just trying to think about how I can take steps to innovate a way to perhaps evolve a website that exists on nostr.
Would value any thoughts and ideas😊
