Depends how you use it, no? I’m guessing you’re assuming it’ll be used for one-up-man-ship and to belittle the people they’re quoting? Doesn’t have to be. I’m all for Nostr not turning into Twitter but that’s less to do with a client’s features and more to do with people being dicks
Yes. Sometimes it’s useful to amplify a good note. I usually go to the original note too, so it depends on the viewer too.

Amplifying, sharing, boosting, etc, a good point or thread is different. I’m talking about replying by quoting instead of just replying in the thread. It’s distasteful.
