No, WoS can tip but it doesn't zap just yet. Soon.

What’s the difference?

Not much difference, it'll just auto populate in your bio who tipped you & tally up the total amount of zaps for a particular note.

Yeah tapping on the ⚡ icon will still lead you to tip the user, it just won't be recorded as an event on Nostr.
