Some fall garden pics. Cabbages, radicchio, daikon radishes,

Beets, escarole, and Napa cabbages. Always be sowing. Bare ground is neglected soil.

well done!

Looks great. That’s a lot of food!

I won’t get to it all. But most of it will overwinter not in an edible stage, but one where there is live roots in the ground.

How do I learn such succession planning/planting skills?!

Local garden authors, university extension services, local master gardener website. Trial and error. Local seed companies also usually have seed planting windows with their catalogs.

I did master gardeners for two years and it was a waste of my time. Maybe next year we will focus on succession and perennial herbs

I was just thinking that they might have a good handy calendar to help guide sowings. I’m a learn things on your type.

Always be sowing! I have the exact same motto, love it! I feel the same about empty bed space, bare ground in the garden is a waste. Food or cover, either way keep roots in the ground all season long.

🤙

Well what are caterpillars supposed to eat? Lol. Looks great!

This year I finally decided I want to eat the cabbages.

beautiful!

So much potential kimchi

Nice.
