KYC isn’t necessary on X. I think only if you want to get monetised.
You cannot use it without fone number.. So it is KYC
In uk you can buy a SIM card for few pounds - burner phone.
But I get what are you trying to say.
Because #nostr is decenterlized, which means there is no centeral authority who deside you are a good person or a bad one, based on their agenda.
Also #nostr is more than a way to share notes (tweets), you can send E2EE chats, git issues/patches, marketplace, long-form content. You can build anything on top of the nostr relays, because they accept json events and send json events.
I understand the decentralisation bit.
I’m lost on the rest - your explanation is good, I lack basic understanding.
