I see it as a Instagram feature. Not a new account. Thatās why you canāt delete it. You can turn it off, delete all your posts, etc. itās just another Instagram feature. I think thatās the disconnect.
Just assume anything you give to Meta will never be deleted.
I only rmpt my live-streams to Facebook for my former classmates and relatives enjoyment. Occasionally, I check out what they posted to meta.
I linked my instagram to Threads because I was preserving my ID of DeanSMS from being used by others. I have done this with most social apps. Of course, I logoff of such and don't return except in a blue moon.
