This was 2023, I think there was a bit of a hooha about some sort of decision musk made on twitter like no linking to other socials or somesuch other thing that got a lot of accounts blocked /shadow banned maybe? Something like that.

Now Musk is more like an evil tech CEO than an AI prophet. Still cooler than most CEOs.

I remember there being agreement on right and (some of the) left that deplatformimg trump was a terrible thing to do. Deeply unpopular decision whether you support trump or not.
