I set my zaps to Anonymous by default because privacy is important. Yet I feel like some of the community building and signal is now lost with each zap. There is an element of connection when you know who the zap comes from.
Thinking I will leave zaps public for the standard 21 sats zaps but go anon for larger ones.

That works too. If I’m revealing myself, then I want others to see so they can act on the signal if they choose.
These often feel like silly things to discuss, but there is valuable meaning behind it all.
Go anon and publicly zap is my personal preference, but the beauty is everyone gets to decide for themselves. Just keep participating 👍🏻👍🏻
1. Privacy doesn't necessarily mean you have to hide everything. You can "selectively reveal yourself." If the government really really really gets their shit together then you will owe them like $7 in taxes 12 years from now.
2. If you use a nym, you're only revealing the transactions of that nym. Modusb.com/nym
