Dear Nostr community! I have a serious question regarding Bitcoin. I would consider myself a well informed critical thinker and I keep hearing voices, especially here on Nostr, that Bitcoin can be a major building block of a better world order, where no single individual or organisation holds too much power. But there is one big question mark in my mind regarding, that no one really was able to clarify plausibly. I read that 18 Mio BTC are already issued and only 3 Mio more will be issues in the coming 100 years. This leads me to the assumption that there is an accumulation of power that might last generations, and give some living indivisuals or organizations nearly unlimited ressources, and I have no clue who they are and if they are any better than those who have the keys to the money presses, now. Whenever I post questions about this publicly I get ignored or even ghosted. So I'd like to have your stance on this issue. Thanks and have a nice day/night!
