I run around the track 3x per week now, only two miles each, slow pace. Every lap is miserable, but it’s the kind of misery you cannot get from sitting in front of a computer screen. You are lucky if you are willing to experience that misery.
Discussion
Been thinking I should jog a bit. I truly hate running, and am not really built for it (too jacked /s), but it does the body good
It's harsh on the body too, bad for the joints. I think about quitting all the time, but next thing I know I’m back on the track, grinding out those miles in purgatory.
The last time I tried to become a regular jogger, I got some pain in my shins pretty bad, and I was much younger then. I do fine if it's in context of sport, but pure running is brutal.
Was thinking of a quote from you other day on running, think it was one of the first long posts of yours I read.
Found it haha

ha it's true — can expend endless effort chasing a ball, but just running for 20 minutes is hell. Spirtual warfare.
