I think most atheists are cowards. This isn't just my opinion, but also that of Nietzche. They take on most of Christian morality without God, and can't justify the morality that they subscribe to.

But in a sense, the philosophically consistent atheists are even worse. They are sociopathic in their pursuit of power. But at least I can respect them.

Ok reposting after reading comments.

Atheism IS NOT a dislike of or resistance to “religion”.

Atheism is a staunch, categorical rejection that there is a higher Intelligence in the World/Universe.

You can rail against religion of every stripe, embrace the scientific method, and still recognize there is a Reason behind our being here, now.

To reject there is any Reason behind our being here, now, is Atheism.
