Fishcake, can you explain what’s going on?

Ok, one thing at a time;
Are ‘private zaps’ private meaning can they be traced at all? I understand that the sender and recipient and see private zaps but are these recorded at all?
Okay. No worries. So when he zaps you anonymously you can see that it’s coming from his relays?
You could “fingerprint” users based on their relay config, yes. 🐶🐾🫡
Make sure I understand this correctly.
As seen in photo. “Anon” means it’s NOT traceable, can’t ever be figured out. 100% hidden.
“Private” means it’s traced through your filter relay (if ya using filter relay).

No, Private is between two people. Both know who is who. No tracing needed
Anon, you use new key but you still pass your relays to propagate the zap note. If I am receiving the anon zap I (who has his own zapper with logs) can see relays and random key.
