I can't say I've ever tried that but it doesn't sound bad
I had syrup as a teenager for the first time so probably just cuban trauma
I started doing this about a year ago, got my two little children into it... maybe 1 out of 10 fall back to maple syrup, but honey for the win.

Exception is pure maple syrup, especially like a Vanilla or Pecan infused
