Not sure what "verifying" nips is, but a NIP is a "nostr implementation possibility". It's a way for people to document their ideas in a structured way and formalise it so it can turn into a standard feature across many different applications and clients.
Nostr is not only open and free for users, but it's also free for developers to build their own apps and ideas on top of it.
I don’t understand what verifying is either. Sadly some people are raging at me for an unknown reason so I’m seeking to understand. Thanks for your response. Truly.

It's okay, in a way, because the person who has used it shows as unverified on my screen, where as you, the actual owner of the nip-05 show as verified - what evers going on here though, I don't get, so that my contribution...and I'm out
Thank you. I am utterly confused as to why this person has changed their name and nip numerous times in the last few days , showing themselves as queenb, and then feigning ignorance when I asked why. It’s just all very strange.
Is your ‘genuine reason’ for asking because you are busy stealing other people’s nip’s? Passing off your crazy ass schizophrenic posts as your own under their name? Changing your nip and name every few hours like you change tampons?

Whose NIP did I steal? That’s why I’m confused. I was given everything. I stole nothing from no one.
How much blood are you bleeding out if you need to change a tampon every few hours? Maybe get a Diva Cup or get checked out. That’s unhealthy.
