Only one difference imo: we know the value, the small fortunes we impulsively send peer to peer. Part of why we part with it so readily is to perpetuate adoption, and bring about the very scenario described here 💜

There is nothing wrong with sharing wealth voluntarily, especially if it helps with adoption and helps grow the circular economy. One can always spend and replenish, which is what I like to do. After all, value is subjective; freedom money being spent freely, based on one's subjective value at the moment of spending, is a beautiful thing.
