Previously I used Monday. Com....it's like excel with automations/reminders and integrations to email (send track emails from the app)....when a status changes, it automatically moves the item to the next stage of the process..
I'm sure I could spend hours setting this up with macros in excel, but if there's software that already does it, why waste my time?
For instance, in Monday I would set up tables ( to do, In Progress, done) that would track
1. Prospects (contact info, initial contact, follow up, notes) with reminder automations
2. Event planning (sign up forms that linked to tables in Monday to track attendee information on signup forms...also, event timeline with sub sections for details.... integration with proton mail would be ideal to send automatic emails (thanks for signing up! Or here are the event details email...etc(
Does that help?
Hmm. Unfortunately I don't have too much experinces with such softwares.
Maybe you could check here if you find something good:

Thank you.
It seems like I need to set up a server.
I have some technical capabilites, but don't want my business to be overrun by keeping tech up to date ....
Now I understand why nostr:npub1ttc8j3sx59d4vs0zt23r6p90fjcd040x3vgu4j68u44ydx8u4rzqkxm0da said to just keep it organized on excel 😂
Just to make sure, you basically handled forms and spreadsheets in monday + some email automation?

No matter what you use - from SAP to Salesforce to opensource tools (that rarely work) - at the end you will download everything to excel .. or something like it .. So ..
If you are lazy and want some automations - take a look it at https://www.smartsheet.com/
I used it in two of my large SAP implementation programs and both places clients adopted the solution for their day to day business .. It is spreadsheets on steroids .. you will need bit of hand holding if you are not tech savvy .. they have a free option to try things out ...
