Don't ask what it takes to change if you don't want the truth.

There's nothing glamorous about being consistent day after day, year after year. No tricks or magic to it.

You want change? Push through & grow, but stop asking "How do you do it?" if you don't really want to know.

If you do hard things, invest in yourself, it doesn’t take much to stand out against the rest of our lazy society. some do ask questions but would rather eat shit food, and be proud of their dad bod without any accountability

Fiat mindset is the default state.

Truth

Doing it the hard way is the only way to guarantee success

Really? That truth always hurt? What the truth which doesn’t hurt?

Consistency in and of itself is something to obtain. It’s difficult for most, but the one thing needed in order to sustain.

This is very true.

In my practice, I frequently see consistent patterns of thinking and behavior that cause distress in people. Repeated cycles that end the same way every time. Like people are caught in endless loops. They say they want it to end. They ask, how do I stop feeling this way? or how do I get through this tough spot in my life? People are looking for an easy answer. They want a simple tip, trick, or a pill that takes all their distress away. Something that will give instant relief with no work or effort on their part. They want the reward but aren't willing to put in the work.

The real answer is much less appealing than that. Consistent hard work and wanting that change more than anything. Every day. You have to want to feel differently, you have to want to change and grow and you have to work every day to do it. You have to see the goal clearly in your head and drive toward it. When you stumble, you have to get up and keep going again. If not, nothing will change. There is no quick fix. It's hard work and perseverance.

💯

I always succeeded by having many small goals that all worked towards one larger goal. Break everything down into little, incremental things

Still a lot of work, and most people don't want to do it. It's easier to simply go along with everyone else, don't stand out, don't be different, don't work on yourself.

Exactly. Small steps. If you've got something that seems insurmountable don't look up at where you're heading. That can feel overwhelming. Look down at the ground in front of you. If you have to look anywhere else, look at the distance you've already come. One step at a time. By the time you know it, you're cresting the top of the mountain and you've achieved success.

Consistency + small but continuous improvement is the trick both together are difficult to do.

8 years ago I had a net worth of 5k and a salary of 52k now I have a million net worth and a 250k salary.

Consistency helped but if it was not for research, investments, and constant improvement I would still be nowhere.

1 M sats as net worth and 250 k sats salary is on the very bottom end of world's wealth/salary distribution curve. Sats are the standard. PV 🫂
