Consistency + small but continuous improvement is the trick both together are difficult to do.
8 years ago I had a net worth of 5k and a salary of 52k now I have a million net worth and a 250k salary.
Consistency helped but if it was not for research, investments, and constant improvement I would still be nowhere.

I think things have always been like this the only difference is that now it's more in the open.
Previously before the internet and things like nostr the government needed to control only mainstream media which was easy now with independent content creators this is a lot more difficult to do.
So the more freedom of information and freedom of speech there is more and more totalitarian measures are needed by the governments to maintain control of the narrative.

while i really love nostr and how it works the issue its monetization .
While sats are great its not enough of an insentive popular accounts with 1M + followers make like 15k a month on X.
While many people care about freedom and freedom of speech they can't live on freedom.
This are just the realites of the world.
Money makes the world go around.
Now if there was any way to have adds linked to your key or whatever way it can be done nostr would skyrocket.
Here is me hoping this happens as i want nothing more for nostr to be a huge success :)

Look at UAE and Dubai you want to immigrate you register a company for 2k and you get your visa in 3-5 days but if you go there you have to have a job or make money if you don't there is not help from the state and if you do any sort of crime you get deported.
If you are a UEA citizen and you steal you lose the hand you stole with.
this is why based on stats crime wise Dubai and the UAE is one of the safest countries in the world.

No big deal I was just trying to be helpful as I have seen to many people instead of maximizing their time they go let me get a part time job that pays minimal wage.
And nothing wrong with that but its not optimal and difficult to get ahead in life with a strategy like that.
For me personally I have a general idea not a detailed plan where I want to be in 10 years if not sooner from now and I can tell if do X I will not be there in 10 years so I need to do Y.
How many people think 5-10 years ahead etc...
Its not easy to do but its well worth it.
Work smart and hard with smart being the most important part of life to make money by using your skills and making more with the time you have.
you should try to work for 6 hours for 200 an hour instead of 12 hours for 100 an hour.
