I know plenty of people who do this.

If you're older than 8 and younger than 45 chances are you don't need afternoon naps.

But young children and older people tend to take afternoon naps.

There seems to be a misunderstanding here.

Like they are implying that 20 year olds used to take afternoon naps and that's just not true for most people at any time in history.

It isn't about naps, or sleeping in the afternoon. It is about waking up at night & getting out of bed for an hour or two then going back to sleep.

Explain the difference?

Going to sleep at 6pm and waking up for a couple hours during the night before going back to sleep

Vs

Going to sleep at 6pm and waking up for a couple hours during the night before going back to sleep.

I'm pretty sure it's the same thing.

And it was never common for people in their 20s.

Younger children and old people body clocks naturally do it.

It's not some lost art, it's an afternoon nap

First of all I haven't suggested people did this, I just pointed out what was said in the video. Secondly your comment above makes no sense so I can't respond to it.
