I told the publisher at the paper I've been delivering on occasion, that I don't currently want any more formal of a job than what I am doing now, so he's trying to casually rope me into some sort of informal permanent position. We've gone from "just drop these off" to "while you're out, you can drop off extra copies and my contact email to other places if you want" to "if you happen to come across anyone would like to advertise I can pay you a some passive commission on those". It's funny to me. We are acquaintances anyway & he really just doesn't want to ask me straight out, but I am getting the impression he would really like to have my full attention. 😅
