Under-appreciated UX friction for normal people:

Every time I restart my computer and open my browser, Alby's login comes up. I keep my Alby login in Bitwarden, so I then open Bitwarden, type in my master password, search for Alby, copy the password, and paste it into Alby. Only then can I use Coracle.

Good to know I’m not the only one. Thanks!

My browser's password manager kicks in when I start Alby and somehow the password being of the "no username" user name, there can only be one for the whole extension and somehow Alby picks up on the nostr priv key input and thinks it's the same "no username".

In summary I still have not zapped ever due to being paranoid about private keys and quite committed to self custody. Alby would have been with a new key, just to figure it out for a friend. He's not zapping yet neither.

Yea keep logged in? Don't get why it kicks off so soon

Do you think it should work differently? It is quite a tradeoff: convenience vs. security.

Add the Coracle URI to the list of URIs in the Bitwarden entry for Alby. It will save you from having to search for it.

Can't believe I hadn't done that
