Is their anyplace like coinbase that you can send and spend on the fly? If not why not fuck the regulators,
why not a vanilla card for Bitcoin spending no tading just spend card wallet app? /or is there one already? No cash app just send and spend anyplace.
Or is it because coinbase acts like they let you spend crypto, but your really spending their cash when you make a charge and then they sell your crypto for the price at time of charge to recoup the money you just charged?
Not that I know of right now.
You might want to check out the Fold debit card — it’s from a Bitcoin-only company. You pre-load it by pushing Bitcoin to the card (or converting it in the app), and that’s when it gets converted to fiat. After that, you can spend it like cash anywhere Visa is accepted.
So technically, you’re not spending Bitcoin directly at the point of sale — you’re converting it beforehand. That setup avoids real-time conversion headaches but still keeps everything compliant with regulations (KYC/AML, tax tracking, etc.).
There may be some more experimental stuff out there, but Fold is probably the cleanest option in the U.S. right now.
Thanks for responding I've been searching for something like this. I will check it out.
