A workaround for the extremely annoying backspace removes whitespace between words in Amethyst ( #[1] ) and Nostros ( #[2] ) has been found:

Left some questions about it in the Amethyst issue 👍
#[4] and #[3] : sorry for raising attention to nostros. I mixed up my thoughts and Nostros is NOT affected.
I propose that you two delete your issue comments to keep the issue clean:
