This is one of those quotes that is stretching it.

Here’s what I mean…

Saying “you cannot change how someone thinks”

While simultaneously stating “but you can lead them to think differently by giving them a tool”

👆is just semantics.

Granted the decision to actually think differently is up to the recipient of said tool; but the two ideas are not mutually exclusive and in fact often are inclusive of one another, especially if the goal of providing said tool is in fact the change.

One night actually label this as influence.

While I may not be able to physically touch a section of the brain (as I’m not a surgeon) to enforce a change; the mere influence I have upon someone can cause a desired change.

And what’s another way to say influence?

Relationship…which is to remind us:

Leadership = Relationship
