Public is fine if you know what you're doing and understand the risks. We have granular config options for public relays
If I added my own relay from embassy, and its a yellow dot, does that mean its not working?

Same question. I just set up a private relay thru embassy but it’s showing a yellow dot
If you run ORBOT then it turns green
