"giving individuals the tools they need to trade within dictatorial states like Venezuela or Cuba."
?? Don't they mean dictatorial states like america?
Cuba loves bitcoin, helps skirt american embargo. Didnt see any anti bitcoin rules when I was there. Was accepted at coffee shops in Havana and other places.
Quite sure the situation is similar in Venezuela.
Actually America has some od the strictest anti bitcoin regulations in the world!
I’m Venezuelan, live there until 2019. So yeah, they LOVE BITCOIN for themselves. You can read about all the miners they took from people and kept them for themselves.
People there love Bitcoin, the government LOVE to take it away from them, so in that sense, no… Venezuela is not better than The United States.

Not sure about the situation on Cuba for Bitcoin nostr:npub1uw6lgv5qyexx68fwgdmwt3w7v3dwv679sray2ncpkug70ad7a8gqut3tay can talk you more about that, but since Venezuela and Cuba are very well tied (both geographically and politically) you can make a supposition.
The US government is not my friend, but at least it doesn’t take what is not theirs (for now) that’s why they have REGULATIONS for. Property rights are still present and somewhat respected, can’t say the same for my home country.
Team America Fuck yeah! 🤣🤠
Literally any place in the world is more free than america lol
Oh ok you don't live in Venezuela either.
Do you know how bitcoin works? It can't be taken away :)
Almost no one is interested in Bitcoin in Cuba, in the capital is where I read a little movement on this issue, outside of there it is practically nil, that's what I see but that doesn't mean it has to be absolute, as a result of that, the state It does not take measures against things that do not represent problems for them… that is how I see the issue of Cuba and Bitcoin. However, I quote other Cubans from here to give their vision on this interesting topic. Regarding the US-Cuba embargo and freedom, I am not going to divert the topic there

Thank you am 🫡
At one point almost nobody was interested in bitcoin anywhere, that means nothing. You obviously insult didn't read the article i posted and there are many cuban telegram groups. I would say your statement is false.
Those who are reading should decide who to believe, I really don't care... I just gave my daily life and that of some friends in different parts of Cuba
PD: Giving an opinion on a topic is never an offense
have a good weekend bro ☀️
No, I only live there for 23 years :) how long did you visit Cuba for?
Reading articles from CNBC is very American 😂
Also, miners can be taken away, maybe I failed to direct you to the point 🫡
I'm in Cuba every few months. Well you're speaking English. I can share articles in different languages and speak 7 fluently.
Your original post was English so I replied in English assuming you didn't know any other language like most Americans....
I’m not American 😂 I don’t even like the term “American” but that’s beside the point.
I don’t know you, I don’t know where you are from, but if you haven’t live in an authoritarian regime you are better of keeping regurgitations to yourself.
Its a matter of perspective.
I guess you have true freedom now in the USA surrounded by crime poverty lawlessness and disorder.
Enjoy! :)
😂
Telling someone to keep their opinions to themselves on a free speech platform sounds very dictatorial lol. You seem very conflicted 😐
Definitely need one
Only thing I know is vexl, they're here too.
I’ve never tried it, but he advertises Hodl Hodl
As Lou posted, its called Mostro. Something i want to follow.
