So please tell us what nostr is, so we can understand it and not just framing people who are using Primal as ones who dont understand nostr.

Im testing Primal right now on Android but do not want to defend it or so. Seem quite nice but still a way to go. (Im not a teccy so I dont know what is going in in the background.)

Damus is my favorite but switched to grapheneOS because of Bad acting of Apple e.g. zaps on Damus.

Amethyst is completely overloaded in my opinion. Probably the right app for many, but I dont think not for the masses.

These apps have to be straight forward. Good looking and running smoothly, easy to use and deliver what you want to have when starting that app. The masses dont care much about censoring and shadowbanning as long it does not hit them and as long they get what they want from the app.

(I mean you could clone the memes site 9GAG on nostr. Maybe you could setup a client and censor/shadowban everything except of memes. So the client is censoring but still fullfills its purpose. )

Damus is doing a great job. But iOS :( But is has to be mentioned that Damus got funded as well. Not from VCs but I guess it would not be where it is today without that money.

Im still missing a Damus level client for Android.

But I like that people, like you, are ranting and making public about whats happening. So maybe they will change their directions.

Even if in this case with

Primal, it is just one clien of a few. If someone doesnt like it, he can move to another one. Thats the best signal for the Devs to correct the direction if majority of users are leaving.
