People focus too much on diet and not enough on other factors that determine your life span.

Community is a huge one that I never see anyone talk about. Being lonely cuts your life short. When they talk about Okinawans living long life, the focus is always on food or some other secret, but rarely do they talk about the social lifestyles of those people who tend to visit one another often and live closely as friends.

Sleep is probably a much bigger factor than most care to admit.

Being active.

The chemicals you ingest

Air quality... VOCs

Genetics

There's a million things that can cut your life short, food is just one aspect.
