TRUE: this does indeed work. I just ran around the house to grab a lemon and a skewer, poked a nice hole in one end and squeezed. Juicy
Then demonstrated it to the whole family. We are now a little smarter today.

I have lemon juice every morning and will have to try this today morning. Definitely looks easier and quicker than using a lemon press.
You should have seen how giddy I was trying this method, the only thing i can think of is you might want to roll the lemon before you poke it so you can loosen the juice
