It sure seems like Bitcoin will follow TikTok and ChatGPT in the discussion of what to ban next. Bitcoin has been on the brink of a ban for a while, but it seems like conditions are more ripe for such a thing as ever before. The Restrict Act (Patriot Act 2.0) is just a continuation of our sleepwalking into authoritarianism. Not sure how much longer we will be able to honestly say “land of the free” if we don’t get our act together.
