I once paid a 5 dollar cover charge in a pub to see these guys in Virginia beck in the early 90’s. How and why they were there I have no clue.

It was wierd. There was a hand written sign out the front of a bar. 5 bucks to get in. Must have been a friend or someshit like that. It wasn’t advertised anywhere
