It seems like reasonable people should be concerned with meaningful quantities, not "if I touch a molecule of seed oil I'm ded!"

Season your cast iron with whatever is best for seasoning cast iron.

And when you cook in it, use whatever oil you want to be eating.

Yeah that’s sorta where I’m at. Besides, you’re using seed oils with their intended purpose, as a lubricant right? 😂

I just don’t have any of that in my house so wanted to see if there’s another viable option that ppl are getting good results with.
