For those that know the story, taking the orange pill is like "seeing the gate" and like the philosopher stone in the show, every sat requires a sacrifice of equivalent exchange to acquire too. Seeing the gate is what allows the alchemists in the show perform their feats, and the philosopher stone amplifies the alchemist's power.
Alchemy as described in the show is the ability to reconstruct the world as the alchemist sees fit by calling upon energy from the natural flow of energy in the world to exert it in a way to fulfill the alchemist's desires. If you think about it, that's basically what every bitcoiner does too, by manifesting energy stored from cyberspace to transfer it to where it needs to go in the physical world this allows bitcoiners to exert energy to change reality in a similar way, though much less flashy than the show.
The climax of the show is whether or not the characters would give up their powers for the sake of the world, like giving up your Bitcoin to achieve a grand result like taking down a fascist god-being hoping to enslave humanity. At the end of the day, the power that Bitcoin brings is the friends one makes along the way 🥳
