Oh no. Alby should work with your node. Do you get any error message when you connect your node to the Alby extension? Please send it to support@ getalby. com. I will help you there immediately.

I have had multiple issues - from not being able to reach my CLN node, to reaching it but having 0 sats and no RPC commands going through all the way to Alby and AKA Profile fighting for the Window API (which makes sense, they both provide it) and there being no way for me to just use AKA Profile for the WebLN stuff, and AKA Profile for Nostr. I want to differenciate both of those concerns on purpose. Nostr, to me, is social media - and Alby is... money. Whilst I can spend sats on Nostr, I would much appreciate to not having them both lumbed into one - and that doesn't seem to work. x) That is why I uninstalled Alby forever ago after several attempts. o.o
My CLN node lives entirely in Tor, has commando enabled and should, in theory, be always reachable. However, eventhough I used `statictor` as the address specifier, it still changes the used Tor address - meaning that the same address might not always work twice, so I would have to use Alby over my network, or my VPN when I am not at home.
