I've noticed a major difference between X and Nostr.

People here don't seem too bothered when one talks about spending Bitcoin, in fact, here it seems to be encouraged.

Whereas on X... Holy shit! People get soooo triggered if one just dare mention that sats may be spent.

This is honestly the most stupid reason not to spend your coins. There is no difference between spending fiat that could've been used to buy bitcoin and spending bitcoin itself ECXEPT the exchange fees.

Those fees are the only good reason not to spend bitcoin. "It is not financially optimal for me to spend 100$ + 1$ in bitcoin when I can simply pay 100$ in $".

This is the only valid reason not to dpend bitcoin and it is 1000% valid. Spending and replacing is not free.

I've always treated Bitcoin like money, therefore I spend it and I use it like I would dollors. I never understood the people who freak out around the concept of spending Bitcoin.

If their reason isn't that it is a better financial decision for them to spend the fiat they earn instead I honestly think it's plain stupidity.
