It's a tough one to strike the balance. I resorted to this for now: If they seem genuinely concerned about the state of affairs, about the affordability of housing, moral decline, wealth gap, violence, environmental destruction etc. ... then I carefully try to introduce that the causes are no mystery any longer and that there's a potential remedy. Then see how deep they are willing to go, if at all. You'll do your best and have an effect in any case 🤝
