What am I doing wrong with relays?
While I'm not farming engagement, it's nice to think that like-minded plebs might read my notes and respond, thus making new frens.
However, visibility seems to be stuck at between 5-10 different plebs each time. Which is worse than Xitter ever was!
What's happening? Are my notes really that bad?

I think it’s just that 1) there’s not that many people on nostr and 2) notes quickly get buried by newer notes
You’ve got some old relays in your list, you need a refresh for sure. Encourage you to signup for the #AUStriches relay at https://relay.nostr.com.au - that will get you seen in a different time zone for example.
If you’re seeing the same ppl in your replies all the time I’d encourage you to 1) try some diversified content and 2) go follow some other plebs and engage them on topics that interest you to spread your wings a bit

Just signed up, and removed a couple of the old relays.
I wonder if the nostr1.com hosted relays are messing me around too. Time to switch a few on and off, see what's happening.

Are you using hashtags regularly? I follow #asknostr and because of it, I saw your note.
Could be because nostr clients don't have algos "yet" and notes are passing by unnoticed without waiting for you/us with algo suggestions.
I like it this way. A completely naked and random things and thoughts. I was even against likes integration but they are so deeply buried in people conscious, that they can't live without likes anymore apparently.
Engage in other notes and engagement will follow.
For some, simple GM / GN / PV work great 😃
