I need to live a life worthy of a story. One my children will sing to theirs. If I don't, I will be forgotten in a generation. This is the only way I will live forever.

I’ve quickly learned that for my kids the most important story is the one where I’m present with them and interested in what they do. 💜🤙
Yes! To be present, to play, and to be a part of their story. Often times when my wife and I spend time/money on things that we deem important, they’re forgotten. We planned them through the lens of an adult. Then we will visit friends and my kids will recount every tiny detail of an experience we thought was insignificant.
