Storm rolled through and the power went out. Turns out it was a big oak tree on the north end of our property that fell and took out a power pole.

So instead of cooking supper in the kitchen, I cooked supper on the Coleman propane stove.

Linemen are dealing with many downed lines tonight, and we are the last house on our service line so, I expect, lowest priority.

Generator is on standby if I need to run freezers for a while tomorrow.

Phones are charging via power banks.

My solar Meshtastic node weathered the storm and is still functioning.

Plenty of water, gasoline, and diesel fuel on hand.

Being prepared is quite nice.
