I’m confused about how this works… so there’s a Fediverse … but there are sooo many decentralized social media apps. How exactly are they connected? Like, my post here doesn’t automatically also post to Bluesky right?

I'm trying to figure this out as well. I haven't looked into the technicals yet, but from what i'd guess it seems like some 'relays' relay mastodon/fostodon stuff too?

oh cool. Yeah I see your posts are talking about micropayments or something … I would like to figure out how to set up the zap / lightning wallet thing, just cuz it’s cool to have that option! Although I want to avoid feeling like I’m posting just to get a small payment.
