I tried to send to it from minibits the other day and was failing so guessing no multimint swaps yet but surely that will come.
any idea what mint they use? probably their own I imagine.

correct.. LN is the highway to the various mints that exist / will pop up... some cashu implementations have auto-swaps from mint A to mint B, while others may not... in the latter case, you would simply go from mint A to LN and then from LN to mint B
Finding trustworthy mints is still the biggest problem. You definitely don’t want to HODL on them. I’ve had a few disappear over time and take a small amount of sats with them.
I leave as much on em as I'd leave on WoS, for example. That number may differ from person to person, and that's alright.
everyone who uses custodial services deserves to have their money stolen even if it's a nickel
I like to experiment with new things. Ecash is a very cool concept, but you definitely need to be willing to trust a custodian. Never risk more than a tiny amount.
are you also going to risk putting a tiny amount of your foreskin into a paper shredder? it's not like the owner is financially incentivized to plug it in or anything.
