That seems like a far more reliable number than the one I saw in the news. ๐
I donโt know much about earthquakes, other than that I donโt remember them ever happening this close to me in my lifetime. ๐ฌ
Local news seems to grab whatever the highest number that comes in might be especially if itโs rare. I remember we got something like a 1.1 somewhere near me once and the news was alllll over it because I think it was the only earthquake in 40 years? Something like that. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐
Apparently there was a slightly smaller one in southern Illinois just a few weeks ago, too. ๐ค
