Does Nostr have any form of blocking capabilities yet? Not my natural inclination to block people but I am curious given someone’s recent behavior.

You’re crossposting these to bluesky and I’m not 100% sure you know how they look there? (If it’s an attempt to work out bugs in a posting tool, that’s not exactly clear.)

Test post because I’m not sure that something else I set up is still working …

I completely forgot that I bridged my account from bluesky to Nostr…

Though note that comments between these two platforms seem to not make it.(or last I checked.)

Why am I awake so early when I was up til 3am working??

So the breakdown of getting #Nostr on #Bluesky via #Bridgy on #Mastodon:

1) Add the https://momostr.pink/ relay on Nostr

2) & then follow the "Bridgy Fed for Bluesky" account located on Mastodon (easiest link for me to just add but you should be able to search):

https://snort.social/nprofile1qqsqspc59ytgkgf3stzm8ysqvrvdx6v8fphmjv8el3pzsj2f5j4xxjcwt4ddd

& you end get something like:

https://bsky.app/profile/npub1mypgzwfpprnvkqslkzpht3vnx57wv89qqzt9n7rz3n4sak9a4c2sp3m4wm.momostr.pink.ap.brid.gy

Takes a min for responses from Bluesky to show up on Nostr

Noting that tagging my bridged nostr account on Bluesky doesn’t actually seem to send any notification to my nostr account the way I’ve got it set up. So it might be a somewhat useless bridge at current. (I am connected to that relay.)

Thinking nostr:npub1wmr34t36fy03m8hvgl96zl3znndyzyaqhwmwdtshwmtkg03fetaqhjg240 probably never saw a few comments I made to his posts when I commented from Bluesky to his bridged Nostr acct?

test post to nostr from Openvibe because I don’t think I’ve tested this yet …

So are there any #smmtools (social media manager/marketing) available for crossposting to Nostr yet? #asknostr

I’m testing practically everything at the moment and have yet to see any that are for multi-account for Nostr.

Closest thing I’ve gotten is a rundown of tools for individuals (no account switching for a more business focus.)

Nootti and Openvibe have Nostr but things like Buffer and similar… I’ve yet to find one supporting Nostr (and I’ve been hitting my spreadsheet of publishing tools hard looking at options for everything.)

So if you want to follow me on BlueSky where I post more, you should be able to do that on Nostr now. I’m sending that account a message.

Testing the nostr to mastodon to bluesky craziness

I don’t expect all apps to show precisely the same way since there may be some feature differences they are trying to achieve but if not everyone is seeing some core things the same way, that seems fairly problematic in my opinion.

So can anyone explain the disparity of the number in the stats between apps on Nostr? Damus is showing 5 zaps and Primal is showing 20 zaps for example.

(I’ve also gotten very used to writing in alt text for images and don’t see a way to do it at least with Damus.)

Noticing some activitypub crossposting here that I don’t remember seeing last time I was here.

Then again I don’t think I checked for moss photos here either and that’s where I’m seeing it.

Also my version of normie may still be on the geeky tech side. I did notice that mossy photos have made it here. 😂
