Carbohydrates result in a sudden increase in insulin production. They have harmful downstream effects on the human organism. We are not in any way evolved to process or digest them.

If carbs are toxic why does human milk contain sugars?

You’re only suppose to have milk as a baby. It’s a necessary evil for a fast growing, underdeveloped organism that can’t chew or do anything on its own.
