I know the problem is more difficult to solve because of large file size and bandwidth requirements, however we really need the #nostr of image and video hosting. I love #[3]​ and similar services. Best initial solution is for apps is to treat image hosting services like relays, easy to add, delete and switch.

One big problem is that server based image hosting like mine is the easiest, cheapest, most reliable solution.

The reason there isn’t a distributed/relay/image hosting is it is really hard, issues being reliability, cost, development and maintenance, etc..

**Can someone PLEASE build this so I can be relieved of this pressure, I will personally support, promote, contribute to this project!

DO NOT USE nostr.build for private DMs, they are not encrypted

DO NOT USE nostr.build if you need to encrypt your media files

DO NOT USE nostr.build to hide any potentially illegal images, we have to adhere to US and other countries laws and regulations

With that said, I want nostr.build to be a community platform as much as possible, below are a few things I’m doing for this;

- I want to make nostr.build FOSS as soon as possible.. I’m working with #[4]​ as we speak cleaning and preparing to post the code, hopefully by nostrasia..

- We are adding a new ‘admin’ account for a small group of volunteers to help preview content. If ANYONE is interested in helping preview content please DM me.

- I will fully partner with anyone building a decentralized image hosting service, access to nostr.build code, media, shared domain (ex. torrent.nostr.build), anything to help
