It's just the only open global market on the weekends and evenings like you know. Moves that are the response to global events are telling for what other markets will do. In the screenshot below you can see a lot of stocks went down today.
It's similar to election night when Bitcoin sniffed out that Trump would win well before anything got called.
Imo Bitcoin price can tell you a lot about world events and how markets will digest them the next day
In this case the benefit was I waited a little longer than normal to buy, I bought around market open a bit above the top. It's not always telling you something but sometimes it's loud enough to pay attention.
