So last night half of my project was erased somehow after I put in several hours worth of progress. I have the option to revert to undo the deletions but this will erase 2ish hours of progress and bug fixes, or try to recreate the missing pieces.
Either way it sucks :(
May just take the day off. Enjoy some sun. Eat some steak. Say fk it.

If it is as you say, you can copy it as it is, then do that revert, then diff the two copies and reapply the differences (probably manually).

This is usually when I say Fuck it and go do something else. Once you've had a chance to absorb what's happened, and let it sit in your mind, a time will come when you're ready to jump back in and begin rebuilding. Put it aside for a while and give yourself a chance to cope.
Write down some notes on what you did and why, then take the day off...
